INGREDIENTS
- 3-4 pounds canned brisket
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 pound potatoes, peeled and chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
- Open the corned beef brisket and pour in the liquid. Save the seasoning packet and do not rinse the meat. Place it in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the spice packet over the meat. Pour the water over the edges and add the chopped onion to the pot.Cover and cook over low heat for 8 hours.
- After 4 hours, add the potatoes to the pot and cook with the meat.
- If you want to add cabbage, chop roughly and add during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Remove everything from the pot and slice the corned beef to serve.
