Slow Cooker Corned Beef

Enjoy rich, juicy slow cooker corned beef, complete with tender potatoes and flavorful onions. This recipe only requires 3 ingredients and 5 minutes of prep time!

  • 3-4 pounds canned brisket
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 pound potatoes, peeled and chopped


  1. Open the corned beef brisket and pour in the liquid. Save the seasoning packet and do not rinse the meat. Place it in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the spice packet over the meat. Pour the water over the edges and add the chopped onion to the pot.Cover and cook over low heat for 8 hours.
  3. After 4 hours, add the potatoes to the pot and cook with the meat.
  4. If you want to add cabbage, chop roughly and add during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Remove everything from the pot and slice the corned beef to serve.
  6. Enjoy.
