Ingredients:
- 1 medium-sized cabbage, shredded

Directions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in the shredded cabbage, salt, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix well to coat the cabbage with the spices.
- Cook the cabbage mixture for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized.
- Add butter to the skillet and continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the butter to melt and enhance the flavors.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve the fried cabbage as a delicious side dish.
