1/4 teaspoon each of nutmeg, allspice, and cardamom
salt and freshly ground black pepper

4 1/2 tablespoons butter (divided)
2/3 cup (1/2 medium) finely chopped yellow onion
1 teaspoon (1 clove) minced garlic
1/4 cup milk
2 large egg yolks

3/4 pound 85% lean ground beef
3/4 pound ground pork
3 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups low-sodium beef soup
1/3 cup cream

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
