Salted Caramel Bites


  • Oyster crackers, 4 cups
  • 6/3 cups of butter
  • brown sugar, 3/4 cup
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract or paste
  • 1 kosher salt tsp.

How To Make Salted Caramel Bites

Turn the oven on to 350 degrees.
Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and line it with parchment paper (or aluminum foil).
On the baking sheet, arrange the crackers in a single, equal layer.
Melt the butter over medium heat in a large pan. Brown sugar and vanilla are added. Brown sugar should be dissolved by stirring.
Increase the temperature until the mixture starts to boil. For around 3 to 4 minutes, stir continually until the liquid becomes frothy and lighter in color. It’ll have a wonderful aroma!
Pour immediately on top of the crackers after turning off the heat. Use a rubber spatula to gently stir the crackers until they are all evenly coated.
On top of the crackers, sprinkling the kosher salt.
7-8 minutes in the oven watch for burning.
