It’s one of my favorite afternoon or breakfast snacks and always gets rave reviews, everyone loves it! Every time I do it, it disappears within minutes.


    • Sugar (250g)
    • Butter (250g)
    • Flour (350g)
    • Lemon (1)
  • Teaspoon Yeast (1)
  • Egg (4)



Mix the sugar and beaten butter well. Then add the whole eggs, shell and juice. Mix and finally add flour, yeast and a little milk. Pour into a buttered and floured cake pan. In the oven, thermostat 6-7 for 1 hour, gas oven (electric oven thermostat 5-6)
Remove the cake from the pan after taking it out of the oven.Cold.

Mix the other half of the lemon juice with the powdered sugar. It should be thick enough. This glaze should be heated very slightly.
