Homemade Herb Butter
Ingredient
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
Lemon-cilantro herbal butter
1 clove of garlic, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Peel of a lemon
Salt and black pepper to taste
Dried tomato butter and herbs
1 clove of garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons oily sundries – drained and chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Black pepper to tast
Garlic butter and Italian herbs
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instruction
In a bowl, using a hand mixer (or by hand with a fork), beat together the butter and flavored butter ingredients of your choice.
Transfer butter to a sheet of plastic wrap. Then roll it up to form a cylinder. Twist both ends tightly and refrigerate for at least an hour. The butter is ready to serve cold and thick. Butter will keep in the refrigerator for about five days.
