Ingredients

 

 

Crust:

 

  • ▢½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ▢½ cup granulated sugar
  • ▢1 ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • ▢⅛ teaspoon salt

Filling:

 

  • ▢12 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ▢¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ▢3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • ▢2 large eggs*
  • ▢2-3 tablespoons finely grated lemon zest**, from about 2-3 lemons (adjust to suit your taste)
  • ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
  • ▢¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, from about 2 lemons
  • ▢sweetened whipped cream, for serving
