HOW TO MAKE CRACK CHIKEN :

I start with chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts. I feel like the shanks are softer and the whole dish becomes decadent with the shanks. Also, I only use one package of ranch to limit my sodium intake.

Equipment:

  • CROCK POT

INGREDIENTS:

▢½ cup chicken broth
▢1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning
▢2 pounds chicken breasts, thawed

▢8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese, shredded
▢8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
▢½ cup cheese, shredded cheddar

INSTRUCTONS:

Add the chicken broth to the slow cooker and add the Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning packet. Then add the thawed chicken breasts.
Cover and cook on high heat for 4 hours or low heat for 8 hours.

When the cooking time is up, cut the chicken into slices with two forks.
Add the Philadelphia cream cheese pieces, bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.Mix the ingredients.
Cover the pan again and cook for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
