DIRECTIONS
Preheat roaster to 450 °F.
Fixing
Combine all beating constituents using a chopstick until fully mixed and crumbly.
FILLING
Peel, core, and slice apples into thin slices( roughly ⅛ inch). Toss apple slices with sugar, flour, bomb juice, bomb tang( if using), cinnamon, & nutmeg.
Subcaste apple slices in pie shell( it will be really full) and pour any leftover juice over the apples. Top apple slices with beating and stroke it down over the apples. Place pie visage on a cookie distance( they tend to drop over if really full, this will save your roaster).
Singe at 450 °F for 15 twinkles, reduce heat to 350 °F and singe an fresh 45- 55 twinkles.( Poke the center of the pie to make sure the apples are soft all of the way through).
Serve warm or room temperature.
Notes
The beating requirements to be veritably well mixed to hold together, if it’s fine, it has n’t been mixedenough.However, use your hands to mix it all together, If demanded.
Be sure to keep an eye on your deterioratetopping.However, place a small piece of antipode on top to keep it from burning, If it starts to brown too beforehand.
I recommend Granny smith apples for their courtesan flavor and they hold their shape well.
You can indurate this pie either before or afterbaking.However, the pie can be ignited from firmed , If firmed before incinerating. To singe from firmed , preheat the roaster to 425 °F and cover the pie approximately with antipode. Place the pie in the roaster and singe for 20 twinkles. Reduce the heat to 350 °F and continue incinerating for an fresh 45- 55 twinkles.
