Shrimp Garlic Pasta


  • 1 pound medium shrimp, without veins or tails
  • 1 pound spaghetti (more or less depending on family size)
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, to taste, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (3 dashes).
  • Italian seasoning
  • freshly ground pepper
  • red pepper flakes
  • salt
  • herbs (to taste)

Shrimp Garlic Pasta


1 Boil pasta in water until tender, reserving 1 cup pasta water for later. I always add oil, salt and fresh herbs to my pasta when cooking. Drain and set aside when done.
2 While the noodles are cooking, wash the shrimp.
3 Melt the butter over medium heat.Add the shrimp.
4 Bake until lightly pink and beginning to curl. Then add the garlic.
5 Cook for 5-7 minutes, add oil.Keep stirring until the shrimp are pink and curly.


6 Put the noodles in the pan. Add the spices. Add enough water to the noodles so that they don’t dry out, but also don’t float in the liquid. Half a cup or a whole cup will do, depending on the amount of pasta.Start by adding 1/4 and then increase the amount.
7 Mix all the ingredients in the pan until well combined and hot.
