Mashed Potato Cheese Puffs with a Cheesy Center

Directions:
Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and the beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
Form the Puffs: Using your hands, take a small portion of the mixture and form it into a ball or patty, about the size of a golf ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat about an inch of oil over medium heat until hot (around 350°F or 175°C).
Fry the Puffs: Carefully drop a few potato balls into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve: Enjoy the cheese puffs warm, either on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce.
