IRON SKILLET BLACKBERRY COBBLER

PREPARATION:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.Coat a 9-inch cast-iron skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Add the cooled butter pieces to the skillet.Place the skillet in the oven until the butter melts.

In a medium bowl, add the flour, salt, cinnamon, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Stir to mix.

Remove the skillet from the oven (if the butter has melted) add the mixture to the skillet.Sprinkle the blackberries over the surface of the crust.Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. (The crust should be golden brown.) Serve hot.Garnish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
