Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.

2. Heat the milk, water and butter in a small saucepan over low heat until the butter has melted and the mixture is warm (about 43°C). Be careful not to heat it too much as this may kill the yeast.

3. Pour the warm milk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir with a spoon until well combined.

4. Add the beaten eggs and mix until the dough comes together. 5. Gradually add the remaining 3/4 cup flour until the dough is soft and slightly sticky. You may not need to use all the flour.

6. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. 7. Shape the dough into a ball, place it in an oiled bowl and rotate it so that all sides are coated with oil. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

8. Once the dough has risen, punch out the air. Place on a lightly floured surface and divide into 12 equal pieces.

9. Form each piece into a ball shape, folding the edges under to create a smooth surface.

10. Place the rolls on a greased baking tray or greased baking dish, leaving some space between each roll. Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let rise for about 30 minutes.

11. While the rolls are rising, preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

12. Once the buns have risen, bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown. 13. Remove the buns from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter to give them a shiny finish.

14. Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. enjoy!
