Crockpot Ham- Green Beans and Potatoes

He grew up eating green beans, potatoes and ham. That’s why I decided to give this family favorite a fun twist. I’ve always wanted to try bacon in ham and what better way to make this recipe than in the slow cooker!
I’m happy to report that the whole family loved this recipe. I was able to use the vegetable bacon for Darryl’s vegetables and that worked great too.This quick and easy feast is perfect for any family occasion.
“I make this dish often; I never measured the ingredients, but I can give you a reasonable estimate. Note: Freeze remaining cooking liquid, then add to bean soup, ham or cabbage dishes, or use to cook pasta. It’s delicious!”

To prepare this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs of fresh green beans
  • 2 lbs of ham
  • 4 baking potatoes
  • 1 small onion

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut ham, onion and potatoes into cubes.

Put everything in a pot, pour in 3 cups of water and season with pepper.

Activates low mode for approximately six hours.
