Ingredients:
- 1 package (16 oz) chocolate chip cookie dough, divided
- 1.5 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Additional mini chocolate chips and cookie dough chunks for garnish
Directions:
- Line the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
- Press half of the chocolate chip cookie dough into the bottom of the pan to form a crust layer.
- Spread softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the cookie dough crust.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the ice cream layer.
- Drizzle hot fudge sauce over the mini chocolate chips.
- In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the remaining half of the chocolate chip cookie dough, broken into small chunks.
- Spread the whipped cream and cookie dough mixture over the hot fudge layer in the pan.
- Sprinkle additional mini chocolate chips and cookie dough chunks over the top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
- Before serving, remove from freezer and let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes. Release from springform pan and slice.
