Minced Beef and Onion Pie

Ingredients:
For the Filling:
1 lb (450g) minced beef (ground beef)
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup (240ml) beef broth
1/2 cup (120ml) red wine (optional; can substitute with additional beef broth)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tbsp tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Pie Crust:
1 package (14.1 oz) pre-made pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional Garnishes:
Fresh parsley, chopped
