Ingredients
For the Chicken & Bowl
2 large chicken breasts, sliced into strips
2 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: cooked brown rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
2 tablespoons butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon flour (or GF substitute)
¾ cup milk or half & half
¼ cup grated Parmesan
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Marinate and Grill the Chicken
Toss sliced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Grill on stovetop or outdoor grill 3–4 minutes per side until cooked through.Steam the Broccoli
Lightly steam or sauté broccoli until vibrant green and just tender.Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in flour to form a roux. Gradually whisk in milk. Let thicken, then stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Bowls
Layer base (rice/quinoa), top with grilled chicken, broccoli, and spoon generous amounts of garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with parsley if desired.
