Festive Charcuterie Tree Centerpiece for the Holidays

  • Author: admin
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

1/2 lb salami, sliced into ribbons
1/2 lb prosciutto, sliced into ribbons
1/2 lb cheddar, cut into cubes
1/2 lb brie, cut into wedges
1/2 lb gouda, sliced
1 cup red grapes, bunches
1 cup green grapes, bunches
10 kumquats, halved
1 cup cherry tomatoes
Fresh rosemary sprigs
1 pack crackers
1 star-shaped cheese slice (for tree top)
1 cup mixed nuts (for garnish)
1/4 cup dipping sauces (honey mustard, cranberry sauce)

Instructions

Start by laying out a large serving platter or wooden board for the tree base.
Begin by arranging a small stack of folded meat slices (prosciutto, salami) at the bottom to create a foundation, like a garland around the tree base.
Create the “tree” shape by layering ribbons of prosciutto and salami, starting from the bottom and working upwards, each layer slightly smaller than the previous one.
In between the layers of meats, scatter cubes of cheddar, wedges of brie, and slices of gouda.
Add bright clusters of red and green grapes, kumquats, and cherry tomatoes to decorate the tree with pops of color.
Tuck sprigs of fresh rosemary throughout the tree to mimic tree branches and add a fresh, rustic look.
Crown the top of the tree with a star-shaped slice of cheese.
Arrange mixed nuts and dipping sauces (such as honey mustard and cranberry sauce) around the base of the tree.
Serve immediately, allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of the festive centerpiece before indulging.
