Double Crust Chicken Pot Pie

Instructions

Prepare the pie crust as directed in my pie crust formincluding chilling for at least 2 hours. I generally make the crust the night ahead. The pie crust form makes 2 crusts and you ’ll be using both crusts.
In a large saucepan, combine funk, carrots, and celery. Add water to cover and boil for 12 twinklesRemove from heatdrain, and set away.
In a large skillet, cook the adulation, onions, and garlic over medium heatstirring sometimesCook until the onions are translucent and the adulation is smoothly browning. Whisk in the flour, swabblack pepper, thyme, funk broth, and half– and- half. Cook and whisk until no flour lumps remainalso poach over mediumlow heat until thick. I poach mine for 10 twinkles. You want it to be a veritably thick gravypoach longer if necessaryTaste and add further seasonings if you preferoccasionally I add further thyme. Remove from heat and set away.
Preheat roaster to 425 °F( 218 °C).
